What is a CAMIcode?
A CAMIcode is WTTB’s video QR code product. It opens your uploaded video when scanned with a compatible smartphone camera.
You can add the code to suitable printed products to connect physical marketing with demonstrations, messages, introductions and other video content.
Do customers need to download an app?
No. Customers can scan the CAMIcode using the camera or QR scanning function on a compatible smartphone.
Can I upload a video I’ve already created?
Yes. The current process allows customers to record a personalised message or upload video content through the CAMIcode platform.
What video lengths can I choose?
You can choose a video lasting up to 29 seconds or up to three minutes.
The shorter option works well for concise messages and quick promotions. The longer option provides more time for demonstrations, trailers and detailed information.
How long will my CAMIcode remain active?
Choose either a one-month or 12-month activation period when placing your order. Select a period that covers the full lifespan of the printed campaign.
When will I receive my CAMIcode?
CAMIcodes are emailed within one hour for orders placed between 9am and 5pm on weekdays. Orders placed after 5pm, at weekends or on bank holidays will be processed during the next available weekday service period.
Can I change the colour of my CAMIcode?
Yes. You can recolour the code to suit your design, provided you don’t alter its underlying structure.
Use strong contrast between the code and its background, then test it carefully before placing the print order.
Can I change the video after publishing it?
You can manage the video linked to your CAMIcode through the CAMIcode platform while your code remains active.
What can I track?
The CAMIcode dashboard shows the number of scans and video views. You can use this information to compare engagement between printed materials or campaigns.
Does WTTB add the CAMIcode to my artwork?
Your CAMIcode is supplied for you to place within your artwork before ordering the printed product.
WTTB doesn’t automatically design or position the code as part of the CAMIcode purchase. Make sure it’s clearly visible, surrounded by enough clear space and tested at the intended printed size.
What happens when the activation period ends?
Once the selected activation period ends, the linked video will no longer remain available through the CAMIcode unless the service is renewed. The printed code will still be visible, but it won’t continue opening the active video experience.
