FAQs
PVC-free roller banners are a polymer-free alternative to traditional roller banners, providing a sustainable display solution for promotions and events. They feature a biodegradable 260gsm pull up display made from natural fibres and a sturdy aluminium cassette base. Available in a variety of sizes, they provide an effective way to display your message indoors with easy setup and portability.
260gsm PVC-Free: This durable, polymer-free material offers a smooth surface for vibrant, sharp graphics and features a grey back to prevent light from passing through.
The additional 100mm in roller banner templates accommodates the material that attaches to the cassette mechanism, which isn't visible when the banner is displayed. This area should be left blank to ensure secure mounting and smooth operation of the roller.
To assemble a roller banner, start by taking the base and pole out of the carrying case. Unfold the base's feet for added stability, then extend the pole to its full length and secure it in the base. Gently unroll the banner and fasten the top edge to the pole.
Most pop up roller banners are not fully recyclable due to the combination of materials used. However, the PVC-free display is made from natural material fibres that are biodegradable and will break down quickly in hot composting conditions. Components such as the aluminium base can typically be recycled but it is best to check with your local recycling facility to see which parts are accepted.
The turnaround time for portable roller banners depends on your chosen product specification and finishing options. For faster delivery, we offer express production upgrades at an additional cost. To ensure your order is delivered on time, it is important we receive your artwork by the cut-off time indicated on both the product page and basket.
Please note: If your file is submitted after the cut-off time or if corrected artwork isn't provided before the next cut-off time following rejection, it will delay delivery by one working day.
We offer free standard delivery, with optional upgrades available for expedited service, including pre-10:30 AM and pre-12:00 PM for an additional cost.
Uploading artwork for roller banners is easy. After placing your order, click the upload button on the confirmation page. You can also upload your artwork through the Orders tab of "My Account."
All orders will be packaged and shipped in boxes as standard. For larger orders, boxes may be secured and shipped on pallets; you’ll be notified at checkout if this applies. If your delivery address is inaccessible to a tail lift truck, please contact us to discuss alternative delivery arrangements.
Design guidelines
To make artwork setup simple, we recommend downloading the relevant product template from our templates section. Don’t forget to delete the template layer before exporting your design to PDF.
For best printing results, ensure your artwork and images are CMYK. If you use RGB, Pantone or spot colours in any element of your artwork, we will automatically convert them to CMYK which may change your colour profile.
To eliminate any font issues, make sure all fonts are ‘embedded’ or ‘converted to outlines’ before creating your PDF print file. To ensure legibility, we recommend using a minimum font size of 10pt.
For optimal image print quality, ensure all images are 300dpi to 450dpi. Anything lower than 300dpi will give poor image quality. Images higher than 450dpi will result in high file sizes and may cause longer upload times.
To avoid alignment issues during cutting, be sure to include ‘crop marks’ (offset 10mm) and ‘document bleed’ when exporting your artwork file to PDF. Refer to our product templates for the required bleed specifications.
To meet our print requirements, ensure your file is exported in Adobe PDF (Print) format, ideally as PDF/X-1a: 2001.
