Let's talk about bleed. Not the dramatic kind. No, by bleed, I mean the extra margin around your design that helps everything trim cleanly at the end. If you skip it, you could end up with a white edge where you expected full colour. Not the kind of surprise anyone wants.

In Canva, click on file settings and then show print bleed. You'll see a line appear. That's the trim line. Keep key stuff like text or logos a finger's width inside that line. But your background or images, stretch them past it right to the edge. That way, your design prints clean with no white borders. It might feel like a small step, but trust me, it makes a huge difference to how polished your final print looks.
