Does the API give me a white label version of the WTTB website?
No. The WTTB Print API does not provide a copy or white label version of the WTTB website. You’ll need an existing digital platform or system that can be integrated with the WTTB Print API. This could be an eCommerce website, online portal, custom application or another system within your operation. Your developer or technical team will need to build the connection using our API documentation.
Do I need a developer to integrate the API?
Yes. The WTTB Print API requires backend development work, so you will need a developer or technical team to build the connection between your website and WTTB. We provide the API documentation they will need to develop the integration.
Is there a sandbox environment for the API?
Yes. We have a sandbox environment available so you can test your API integration before placing live orders. This gives you a safe space to check your setup, test how orders are submitted and make sure everything is working as expected before going live.
Do I need a credit account to use the API?
No. A credit account isn’t required to use the API. Orders are paid for using the existing payment methods available within your WTTB account, such as card payment or Payment on Account if you have a credit account set up.
Can WTTB set up the API for me?
We provide the API documentation and access needed for your developer to build the integration, but WTTB does not currently build or implement the connection within your website. Your own developer or technical team will be responsible for setting this up.
Can I connect the API directly to marketplace stores like Etsy?
Not currently. The API is designed for custom e-commerce websites rather than third-party marketplaces. Native integration with platforms like Etsy isn't available right now, though it is something our product team is actively exploring for the future.
Do I still earn WTTB Rewards on API orders?
Absolutely. Every order processed through the API counts toward your tier status and qualifies for WTTB Rewards, cashback credits, and exclusive benefits, exactly the same as orders placed manually via our website.
How long does it take to integrate the API?
It depends on your setup. Integration timescales vary based on your website's architecture, the scope of your custom build, and developer availability. Once you pass the documentation to your developer, they will be able to provide a precise roadmap and timeline for your site.
Which products can I offer through the WTTB Print API?
The WTTB Print API gives you access to 140+ print products, including options for custom sizes and specifications. You can integrate a single product line or expand your offering across a much wider range, with the flexibility to configure products around the needs of your business and your customers.
Can WTTB send orders directly to my customers?
Yes. Orders placed through your integrated storefront are sent to WTTB for production and can be dispatched directly to your customers using white label packaging, helping you keep your own brand at the centre of the customer experience.
