At WTTB, we use the direct-to-film (DTF) printing process for all our personalised clothing. This innovative method prints designs onto a special film, which is then transferred onto the fabric using heat and pressure. One of the key advantages of DTF printing is its versatility; it can be used on a wide variety of fabrics, including cotton, polyester and blends, ensuring your designs look stunning on any material. DTF prints are also durable and long-lasting, maintaining their colour and sharpness even after multiple washes. This makes DTF an excellent choice for high-quality, personalised apparel that stands the test of time.

In the DTF direct-to-film process, we print a layer of white ink automatically. Please bear this in mind when you’re creating your images. If you want areas of the apparel to show through, please ensure these areas have no white boxes or white fills in your design. We also recommend that you save your PDF as a PDFX4a:2008. This will ensure transparency is retained.
