Everyone likes getting a little more bang for their buck, especially when there's another print order on the horizon. Whether you're ordering materials for your business, creating print for customers or prepping for your next campaign, stretching your budget further is always welcome.
But what if your print could give you something back?
That's the idea behind WTTB Rewards, our print loyalty scheme designed to reward customers with discounts, cashback credits, Print Perk Points and additional benefits as their spending grows.
And while saving money is a great place to start, there's more to the scheme than simply unlocking up to 15% off print. Understanding how the tiers work, when cashback becomes available and how to use your Print Perk Points can help you get more value from the print you're already buying.
WTTB Rewards is our print loyalty scheme that gives customers access to benefits based on their qualifying spend over a 30 day period.
The scheme has four tiers: Bronze, Silver, Gold and Platinum. As your spending increases, you can unlock additional benefits, including discounts, cashback credits, Print Perk Points and dedicated account support.
When you first register and opt in to marketing, you'll start on Silver Tier for your first 30 days, with eligible discounts automatically applied across the site and Print Perk Points available to put towards Expert Artwork Technical Checks.
From there, your account tracks your qualifying orders and calculates your tier automatically. There's no need to apply for upgrades or manually keep track of your spending.
And whether you're a print reseller, designer, online seller or small business, your eligible orders contribute towards your Rewards status. It's not about what type of customer you are, but how much qualifying print you're ordering.
Your Rewards tier determines the benefits available to you, with higher qualifying spending unlocking additional perks.
Here's how the four tiers compare:
Rewards Tier | Qualifying Spend over 30 days | Benefits |
|---|---|---|
Bronze | £50 to £249 | 4 Print Perk Points and Customer Support |
Silver | £250 to £999 | 8 Print Perk Points, Cashback Credits, up to 15% discount and Customer Support |
Gold | £1,000 to £1,749 | 12 Print Perk Points, Cashback Credits, up to 15% discount and Customer Support |
Platinum | £1,750+ | 16 Print Perk Points, Cashback Credits, up to 15% discount and a dedicated Account Manager |
One of the advantages of Rewards is that eligible new customers don't have to start at the bottom. By starting on Silver, you can access discounts and other benefits from your first order.
As your printing requirements grow, so can your rewards. Silver introduces cashback and sitewide discounts, while Gold and Platinum increase your Print Perk Points allowance. Platinum also unlocks a dedicated Account Manager for specialist printing support.
And if your spending is Growing, you could unlock double cashback during your next 30 day period. More on that shortly.
There's no need to enter a promotional code to enjoy your Rewards discount.
For Silver, Gold and Platinum members, eligible discounts are automatically applied to product prices when you're logged into your WTTB account.
You'll see the original price crossed out, with your discounted price displayed alongside it. That means you can see exactly what you're saving as you browse, with your Rewards discount already taken into account.
Unlike loyalty schemes that assess spending annually, WTTB Rewards works in 30 day cycles, starting from the date you register or move into a new tier.
For example, if you register on 7 October, your first 30 day period runs until 6 November. Your qualifying spend during this time determines whether you retain your current tier or move to another.
It's worth noting that an order only counts towards your qualifying spend once it reaches the In Production stage, rather than when you initially place it.
Yes, and this is where understanding your cycle can be particularly useful.
Imagine you're on Silver Tier and have several print orders lined up. Using our previous example, you registered on 7 October and place an order on 22 October that brings your qualifying spending to £1,000.
Rather than waiting until 6 November for your cycle to end, you're immediately upgraded to Gold. That means your new benefits become available straight away, and a fresh 30 day period begins. Your original cycle of 7 October to 6 November would change to 22 October to 21 November.
But what happens if your spending slows?
Downgrades work differently. You won't lose your current tier halfway through a cycle. Any downgrade is assessed at the end of the 30 day period, giving you the full cycle to maintain your tier.
If you regularly manage multiple print orders, checking your Rewards dashboard can help you see how close you are to another tier. You might already be approaching an upgrade through orders you've got planned.
The aim isn't to buy unnecessary print to reach a threshold, but to get more value from purchases that already make sense for your business.
Cashback is one of the most practical benefits available through WTTB Rewards, giving eligible customers credits to put towards future print orders.
Unlike your tier discount, which is applied automatically, cashback becomes available once your order has been dispatched.
So, if you've placed an order that's still in production, any cashback due from that purchase won't be available to spend just yet.
You can redeem cashback credits against up to 75% of an order's total value.
For example, imagine you're placing a £100 print order and have £75 in available cashback credits. You could use those credits to cover £75 of the order, leaving just £25 to pay.
That is a useful saving, particularly when you've got another campaign or customer project to get into print.
There's one important detail to remember, though. Orders where cashback is redeemed won't earn new cashback credits. So, while using your existing balance reduces what you pay, that particular order won't generate additional cashback.
Yes. Cashback credits expire 45 days after they're awarded, so it's worth keeping an eye on your balance.
For example, an online retailer ordering packaging every few weeks might earn cashback on one batch and use it towards the next. Similarly, a print reseller could put existing credits towards an upcoming customer job, helping reduce production costs.
If you've got another order coming up, checking your balance before those credits expire could save you money you've already earned.
There's another cashback benefit worth knowing about, particularly if your printing requirements change throughout the year.
WTTB Rewards monitors how your qualifying spending compares with the previous 30 day period, displaying one of three statuses in your account.
Status | What that means |
|---|---|
Growing | Your spending has increased compared with the previous period. This can unlock double cashback credits during your next 30 day cycle. |
Maintaining | Your spending is remaining relatively consistent compared with your previous 30 day period. |
Declining | Your spending has slowed, meaning your tier could change when the current cycle ends. |
You can check your status through the symbol next to the Account tab when logged in, or within the Rewards section of your dashboard.
Imagine your business has a particularly busy month. Perhaps you've secured several new customer orders or you're preparing printed materials for a series of events.
If your qualifying spending increases enough for your account to show Growing, you'll unlock double cashback for the following 30 day period.
That means your next eligible purchases can generate twice the usual cashback credits.
The important distinction is that double cashback applies to your next qualifying period, not automatically to the orders that helped your spending grow in the first place.
It's a useful way for a busy period to bring additional value to future print orders.
While discounts and cashback help stretch your budget, Print Perk Points offer something a little different.
They're credits you can put towards WTTB's Expert Artwork Technical Checks, giving you access to a more detailed technical inspection before your artwork heads into production.
Every Rewards tier receives Print Perk Points, with each point worth £2.50.
Every WTTB order includes a free, automated Essential Artwork Technical Check covering 23 technical checks.
For additional reassurance, you can choose an Expert Artwork Technical Check, which includes a detailed 41 point inspection carried out by one of our prepress technicians.
This examines technical considerations such as bleed, safe areas, image quality, text legibility, alignment and relevant finishing requirements.
Expert Checks cost £2.50, £5 or £10 per item, depending on the product and complexity.
And that's where your Print Perk Points come in.
For example, if an Expert Check costs £5, you could use two Print Perk Points to cover the cost, leaving the rest of your allowance available for other eligible checks.
It's a particularly useful benefit when ordering books, preparing more complex layouts or working with customer supplied artwork that could benefit from an extra technical inspection.
Just remember, these checks focus on technical print requirements rather than creative design or proofreading. Our Artwork Technical Checks page explains what's included.
Yes. Print Perk Points expire 30 days after they're issued.
Your Print Perk Points refresh with each eligible Rewards period, so it's worth using your available points before they expire.
So, if you've got points available and artwork that could benefit from additional inspection, it's worth using them before they expire.
After all, there's little point leaving a useful print benefit sitting in your account.
Platinum is the highest WTTB Rewards tier, available to customers with qualifying spending of £1,750 or more over a 30 day period.
Alongside discounts, cashback and the largest Print Perk Points allowance, Platinum members also unlock a dedicated Account Manager.
This provides direct access to a print and prepress specialist who can offer support with technical questions, product specifications and more complex printing requirements.
For customers managing regular projects, higher volumes or multiple print specifications, having an additional point of contact can be particularly valuable.
WTTB Rewards also includes a special arrangement for registered charities, with eligible organisations able to access lifetime Silver Tier benefits. Find out more through our Charity Printing Hub.
Understanding the individual benefits is one thing. Putting them to good use is where Rewards becomes particularly valuable.
And that can look different depending on how you order print.
Whatever you're printing, it's worth taking a moment to see what you've already earned.
Your WTTB Rewards dashboard brings everything together, from your current tier and qualifying spend to cashback credits, Print Perk Points and spending status. Before placing your next order, ask yourself:
You can also monitor whether your spending is Growing, Maintaining or Declining, helping you understand what benefits may be available in your next cycle.
It doesn't require changing how you buy print. It's simply about making better use of the rewards already available.
Whether you're ordering a handful of promotional flyers or managing a steady stream of print projects, every saving can make a difference.
And with WTTB Rewards, getting more from your print doesn't mean changing how you order. It's about understanding your benefits, keeping an eye on your cashback and putting your Print Perk Points to good use.
So, before your next order, take a look at your Rewards dashboard and see what's waiting for you.
Because great print should do more than deliver results. It should give something back, too.
