Design guidelines
To make artwork setup simple, download the relevant template from the Production templates section above. Follow the instructions provided and remember to remove the 'Guide' layer before exporting your artwork as a PDF.
For the best printing results, ensure your artwork and images are in CMYK. If you use RGB, Pantone or spot colours, these will be converted to CMYK during production, which may affect how your colours appear in print.
To avoid font issues, make sure all fonts are embedded or converted to outlines before exporting your PDF. For readability, we recommend using a minimum font size of 10pt.
For the best print quality, aim for images between 300dpi and 450dpi at their final print size. Lower resolutions may appear blurry or pixelated, while higher resolutions can increase file sizes. Check product template for any specific requirements.
To avoid alignment issues during cutting, include crop marks with a 10mm offset and document bleed when exporting your artwork as a PDF. Refer to the relevant product template for the required bleed specifications, as these vary by product.
All artwork must be supplied as a print ready PDF. We recommend exporting in Adobe PDF (Print) format, ideally using the PDF/X 1a:2001 standard.

Canva uses RGB colour mode by default, which is designed for screens rather than print. For the best printing results, make sure you select CMYK when exporting your artwork. Converting from RGB to CMYK can cause slight colour shifts, so always check your exported PDF carefully before uploading to avoid unexpected results.
Need help with colours? Read our Canva colour guide.
Use fonts of at least 10pt to maintain legibility and keep important text within the safe zone. Use images at 300dpi or higher at their final size to avoid blurry or pixelated results.
Need help with image quality? Read our artwork resolution guide or watch our YouTube tutorial on how to export Canva designs for print.
Extend backgrounds, colours and images into the bleed area to avoid unwanted white edges after trimming. Keep important text, logos and design elements within the safe zone, and follow the bleed requirements for your chosen product.
Need help setting up bleed? Read our Canva bleed setup guide.
When exporting your finished design from Canva, select PDF Print and enable 'Crop Marks and Bleed'. This ensures your artwork includes the necessary bleed for printing. Remember to remove any template guides before downloading your file.

Colour matching isn't available on standard online orders. If you need to match a specific colour, submit a type: entry-hyperlink id: 5pS10XDE6TOAYsul5OZ6Gi and our team will review your requirements.
Most orders are packaged in boxes, while larger quantities may be secured on a pallet for kerbside delivery. Choose your material based on the appearance you want and how it will attach to the glass:
White materials are available with forward printing only. Read our Sticker Stocks and Finishes Guide for more help choosing.
Choose Forward Printed when the design will be viewed directly from the side where the sticker is applied.
Choose Reverse Printed when applying the sticker inside a window for people to read from outside, through the glass. This option requires clear material.
Supply your artwork facing the normal reading direction. We automatically mirror reverse printed artwork during production, so you don’t need to flip it yourself.
White ink adds a backing to clear window stickers, helping colours stand out against the glass and whatever is behind it.
On clear material, white areas in your design will remain clear unless white ink is specified.
Create a spot colour named White, using 100% Cyan as its display colour. Create the shapes or duplicate the design elements where white ink is required, apply this spot colour and set them to Overprint.
For selective white, mark only the areas that need white ink. Make sure the white artwork aligns precisely with your colour design and that your order matches the white ink option required.
The cyan colour identifies the white ink areas for production; those areas will print in white.
Standard sizes include 300 x 300mm, 500 x 500mm, 1000 x 1000mm, A3 and A2. Custom window stickers are available from 50 x 50mm up to 1350 x 3000mm across all materials.
Choose Square Corners for square or rectangular stickers, or Cut to Shape for a custom outline. For custom shapes, you must include a cut path in your artwork showing where the sticker should be cut.
Choose matt lamination to reduce surface reflections, gloss for a shiny finish, or dry wipe if you want to write on the laminated surface and erase it using suitable dry wipe markers. You can also select None.
These lamination options are available across all window sticker materials, including Clear Cling and reverse printed designs. For dry wipe use, make sure the laminated surface will be accessible once the sticker is fitted.
Clear Cling window stickers use static rather than adhesive, so they can be removed and repositioned. This makes them useful for temporary shop window displays, although repeated reuse depends on the material remaining clean and undamaged.
White removable vinyl is designed for removal, but should not be treated as reusable. Permanent and semi permanent adhesive options are better suited to displays that will stay in place.
Clean the glass thoroughly to remove dust, grease and cleaning residue before fitting your window graphics. Check the position and viewing direction before removing the backing.
Handle the material carefully and avoid touching the adhesive or cling surface unnecessarily. Clear Cling relies on close contact with smooth, clean glass rather than an adhesive bond.
