Luxe business cards (also known as Triplex) are designed for those seeking an exceptionally thick, premium finish. These cards feature a distinctive "sandwich" construction with a vibrant streak of colour running through the middle edge.
The impressive weight and thickness of these cards come from fusing three separate layers of professional-grade board together.
Top & Bottom Layers (1): Two ultra-thick, uncoated business card boards form the outer faces of your card.
Centre Layer (2): A single layer of uncoated coloured board is fused in the middle, creating a bold "seam" of colour visible from the side.
We offer twelve vivid centre colours to complement your brand identity. Whether you want a subtle white-on-white look or a high-contrast neon seam, there is a core to match your design.
Available Colours: Blue, Red, Yellow, Black, Green, Pastel Green, Pink, Purple, Orange, Pastel Pink, Turquoise, and White.
Because Luxe cards are so thick, they require specific design considerations to ensure a clean finish during the cutting process.
Unprinted Margins: We strongly recommend keeping solid blocks of colour away from the edge of the cards.
The 5mm Rule: For the best results, allow a 5mm unprinted margin from the trim area. This ensures that the thick boards are cut cleanly without any ink chipping or registration issues at the edges.
